Patio upgrades are genuinely some of our favorite jobs. There's something satisfying about wiring up a space that people are actually going to live in - cooking outside, hanging with friends, staying out past sunset because the lighting actually makes it worth staying.

Here's what we were working with on this one. A large covered patio with a full outdoor kitchen setup - granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, the whole deal. A space like this needs power in the right places. Under-counter lighting for ambiance, recessed lighting overhead so the whole area is usable after dark, and ceiling fans to keep things comfortable when the air gets still.

Getting the electrical right on a build like this takes planning. Outdoor spaces have their own set of requirements - weatherproof boxes, proper circuit loads for appliances, and making sure everything is up to code before it gets covered up. Cutting corners here causes real problems down the road.

What makes a patio like this work is when the lighting and power are actually thought through from the start. The under-counter LED strip lighting on the outdoor kitchen island gives the whole space a warm, finished feel. The ceiling fans and recessed lights overhead mean the covered area is just as usable at night as it is in the afternoon.

If your patio is missing good lighting, fans, or power where you actually need it, that's exactly the kind of thing we handle. A well-wired outdoor space doesn't just look better - it gets used more.
